NHSW’s homeownership preservation activities provide the tools homeowners need to sustain and maintain their homes.  We offer four post-purchase education workshops that provide information about refinancing options, home preservation, and foreclosure prevention strategies to homeowners and landlords.

In partnership with Waterbury Youth Services, we offer basic maintenance education through a student lead team of instructors. The workshop site includes drywall, electrical and plumbing stations where participants get hands on training in basic home repair.

We also offer a landlord class for those who own or are purchasing multi-family property.
