NHSW’s financial education initiative – The Money Gym, helps clients work to build credit and to resolve credit problems. The curriculum, offered in monthly classes with individual follow-up sessions, concentrates on helping participants build and reestablish credit and save for a home or other major purchase.

Our workshop sessions provide a range of financial planning and management tools, and cover topics including personal goal setting and money management, credit building and re-building, and savings and investment tools.  Clients who are working with our foreclosure intervention team are referred to the financial education component to assist them in rebuilding their credit after resolution of their situation.
